“We believe in the idea of an ecosystem, that we live in an interdependent relationship and that is why we talk about sustainability, based on its fundamental pillars: environmental, social, cultural and economic”. Brazilian fashion designer Flávia Aranha's, invited to participate in the FAST TALKS, whose theme is Fashion and Experiences, sums up the global awareness that remains urgent to keep in debate when it comes to fashion. Because it is this debate that allows us to exchange ideas, collect testimonies, cross experiences and reflect on the challenges that creators, creatives and all fashion interlocutors should aim to maintain in order to understand the dynamics and audiences in the future. In this edition, MODALISBOA INSIGHT proposes the debate FAST TALKS - FASHION AND EXPERIENCES, calling on four professionals with national and international recognition to describe the importance of their experience in the idealization and creation of fashion or fashion brands
On the stage of recently inaugurated Carpintarias de São Lázaro, on March 7, at 6 pm, Catherine da Silveira, Flávia Aranha, Julien da Costa and Miguel Bento will be moderated by creative Joana Barrios. Catherine da Silveira teaches Luxury Marketing and Fashion and Brand Management at the New School of Business & Economics in Lisbon and is a member of the Board of Ach Brito SA. Flávia Aranha, Brazilian designer who opened her first store in Lisbon in late 2018, has natural dyeing as the focus of her homonymous brand. Julien da Costa is a fashion reporter and works with director Loïc Prigent on several fashion programs on French national television. He has extensive experience creating video content for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi. Miguel Bento, a Portuguese set designer living in London, collaborated with renowned photographers and brands such as Chanel, Nike, Mulberry, Hermés, Adidas, McQueen and Salvatore Ferragamo.
